The Client:
Marco Costa, son of Costa Coffee founder Sergio Costa continues his family's tradition of producing fantastic tasting coffee. He approached Word at the beginning of 2003 to create is new company's identity and to launch it at Hotelympia at Earls Court Exhibition centre at the catering industry's biggest event.
The Project:
The stand consisted of many elements and had 3 working coffee machines for the duration of the show, along with faxes, a telephone line and guest recognition system. Word was asked to design and produce the stand and manage the event for Torelli.
The Solution:
In order to incorporate the many bespoke items on the stand, Word produced the stand as a single build system, bespoke for the customer's needs and liased with sub contractors for its design and build. The event has strict guidelines on health and safety, as with all food related exhibitions and Word worked diligently to ensure that all proceedures were adhered to and that the stand was passed fit to show by the event organisers first time.
The result was an extremely successful launch followed by business from Ask Pizza, Pizza Express and a number of independent retailers.
